We accept most dental insurance plans. Please familiarize yourself with your insurance plan, paying close attention to co-pays. Our accounting staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company.
Please know that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. We do not render our services on the basis that insurance companies will pay all of our fees. We base our treatment on what is best for you.
Below you will find our new patient forms. Feel free to print and complete the forms before your first visit with us. While we do not require that you complete this paperwork prior to visiting our practice, this will save you and our staff time when you come in for your appointment.
To schedule an initial appointment at our Havre de Grace, MD office, call us at (410) 939-5800 to speak with one of our helpful staff members. If you’d prefer, you can also fill out our convenient online contact form and we’ll get back to you shortly. During your initial visit, your dentist will examine your oral health and develop a personalized treatment plan to address any dental issues or concerns.
During your consultation with Dr. Grubb, he’ll examine the health of your gums and jaw to help him determine whether you’re a candidate for dental implants. If you suffer from a weak jawbone or have receded gums, chances are you won’t be ready for implants until you undergo either a bone or gum graft. Determining the state of your oral health is vital as it can improve the success rate of your implant procedure.
In order to maintain a healthy smile, it’s crucial to visit our practice for routine exams at least twice a year. These visits will allow Dr. Grubb to clean your teeth of any harmful bacterial build-up while also checking the condition of your dental implant restorations. By catching early signs of possible dental issues such as decay or gum disease, we can treat them early and reduce the need for more invasive, expensive procedures.
Dr. Grubb will be able to determine which dental implant treatment is right for you during your initial consultation. If you are missing one to two teeth, separate implants may work best for your smile. If you’re missing an entire arch, your dentist may recommend implant-supported overdentures to more easily complete your smile and give you a new, natural-looking set of pearly whites.
Dr. Richard Grubb and our dental team have the necessary experience and technology to place long-lasting dental implants. If you suffer from a single or multiple missing teeth, you don’t have to deal with it any longer. At Family Implant & Restorative Dentistry, we welcome patients who are looking to complete their smile with custom dental implants.
